The director of the studio, Ms. Florence is a Ph.D student at the Ohio State University majoring in speech language pathology. Speech, language and literacy development of young children is her passion! Throughout these 8 years, we have seen so many encouraging and heart-warming stories about children with speech and language challenges who enrolled in our Kindermusik studio.
We are an approved provider for Delaware County Board of Disability and Help Me Grow program. Therefore, they would be able to issue PAS and pay the tuition to take our classes. In addition, we have The Helen Smid Scholarship to help support children who would benefit from a Kindermusik class.
Kindermusik is truly an amazing tool to enhance and support your child speech, language and literacy development.
If your child has any special challenges in the area of speech, sensory, language, or literacy… PLEASE contact us and see what Kindermusik can help….
Testimonials….
Kindermusik is a wonderful experience for our family. Our one-year old daughter, Sophie, has some developmental delays with speech and gross motor skills. It was in a Kindermusik class that she first demonstrated understanding and followed a command (spin around). Then, after a few months, she began humming class tunes which then led to speaking. The class activities also exercise and strengthen her muscles to improve her motor skills. Kindermusik provides us with tools we use to engage Sophie and allow her to have fun while learning. Best of all, the fun and learning don’t end when the weekly lessons do… the take-home materials provide wonderful interactive books and it’s an absolute dance party at our house whenever we play the CD’s. Ms. Florence is extremely knowledgeable and wonderful with the kids. We’re learning a lot and having a great time doing it! - Jenny-Sophie’s mom
My daughter was adopted from China . She was “behind” socially and somewhat developmentally. She has grown in all areas while in class. She has become more social and sure of herself. This was a safe, fun environment for her to take “chances.” Because of Florence ‘s encouragement she tried new things with each class. Thanks Florence .
